Seeing yellow, seeing Stand
05.15.2009 // by: Sarah
Starting in May, the Chattanooga region will get inundated. Word is spreading about Stand, a cheery, yellow visioning campaign. We’re asking as many residents as possible to shout from the rooftops what they want for our region: in the four-question Stand survey, nothing is off-limits and no answers go unread.
We’re getting the word out anyway we can, via Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr for our area’s many social networkers. But since Stand is a movement by people, for people, we’re also asking anyone who can to take the survey to bowling pals, dinner dates, company shindigs, and knitting groups. Come out for our first Volunteer Training session to explore how you can plug in - Monday, May 18th at 6:30 PM at Stand HQ, 55 E Main Street, Suite 105.
We’ll be looking for answers through public utilities, through local companies and at events near and far. Keep your eyes open for yellow, and for our collective, bright future.
